Information:

The purpose of the MBI ORU is to promote research and teaching at UCLA in the area of molecular biology. Since its inception in 1965, the success of both the MBI and the science of Molecular Biology has been so extraordinary, that virtually all of the basic life science departments of the College of Letters and Science and the School of Medicine are represented by the over 128 faculty Members and Associate Members of the MBI.
